Jay Prepchuk is the former University of British Columbia Head Football Coach and was the leading all time passing quarterback in the NAIA for Simon Fraser University, setting 15 university passing records before attending The Saskatchewan Roughrider's training camp as a quarterback. Coach Prepchuk's career includes four AA Provincial Championships, he was the guest coach with the BC Lions in 2002 and has been the Head Coach of many of Football BC's Provincial elite teams. Jay was indicted into the BC Touch Football Hall of Fame in 2011, Jay won the prestigious Orange Helmet Scholastic Coach of the Year award in 2013 and received the BC High School Football Honorary Life Membership award in 2018. Coach Prepchuk's years of experience as an academic high school counsellor, provides these student athletes with an overview of what it takes to get to the next level in football and academically, providing advice and direction on how to obtain athletic scholarships.
